Shauna Thompson

Shauna Thompson is a Jamaican-Canadian actor born in Etobicoke and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She is a recent graduate of the acting program at the National Theatre School of Canada. During her time at the school she acted in productions of The Threepenny Opera, The Rover as well as two new works, What Rough Beast and The Observed Flight of Birds. Since graduating, she’s had the pleasure of playing Romeo in Repercussion Theatre’s  Romeo and Juliet: Love is Love, an impassioned student in Tableau D’Hôte Theatre’s Blackout, and made her Shaw Festival debut in Howard Barker’s Victory and Bernard Shaw’s Man and Superman with Don Juan in Hell. Shauna also holds a degree in English literature with a minor in French language studies from the University of Guelph
