The first and only black woman to graduate from the National School of Humour, Garihanna Jean-Louis quickly established herself as a comedian in Quebec and internationally with her incisive style that reflects both her Haitian origins and her Quebec culture. She is the recipient of numerous awards including: artist of the year at ZOOFEST in 2022 and the Prix Gémeaux in 2021, Public Choice Award at the Gala Dynastie in 2020 and Revelation of the Year in 2017 and 2018 at the International Lol Fest Haiti Laughter Festival in 2017 and 2018 at the International Lol Fest Haiti Laughter Festival. She was crowned Comedian of the Year at the Gala Dynastie 2024.
