Montreal, March 25, 2025 – The wait is over! Gala Dynastie is unveiling the musical performances that will set the stage for its 9th edition on April 26 at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts. Presented by the Conseil des arts de Montréal, this year’s lineup promises an electrifying experience.

From breathtaking acrobatics and deep, soulful voices to electro-afro beats, jazz, and Caribbean pop, the Gala Dynastie team has put together a show that will leave a lasting impression. Audiences, both in person and at home, will witness incredible live performances backed by Gala Dynastie’s official house band, under the musical direction of Alexandre Paquette. Artistic director Frantz-Lee Léonard will bring his creative vision to the stage.

Cirque Kalabanté – a fusion of tradition and acrobatics
To kick off this 9th edition, Cirque Kalabanté will deliver a spectacular performance blending circus arts, music, and African traditions. This Guinean-Montreal troupe, known for its exceptional skill and high-energy shows, will take the audience on a journey where physical mastery meets cultural richness. With stunning acrobatics and mesmerizing rhythms, this opening act will set the tone for a dynamic and vibrant evening.
Sajaa – a spellbinding fusion of soul and jazz
One of this year’s breakthrough artists, Sajaa will create an intimate, immersive atmosphere with her unique blend of jazz and soul. Her deep, emotive voice forges a strong connection with the audience, turning every note into an experience of its own. Drawing inspiration from Joss Stone, Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, and Amy Winehouse, her music is rooted in meaningful lyrics and refined live instrumentation. A performance both powerful and delicate, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
Kizaba – afro-congolese electro in the spotlight
Kizaba brings a fusion of afro-congolese rhythms and modern electronic textures. A multi-instrumentalist and pioneer of this unique style, he will be joined by his guitarist to deliver an electrifying set where tradition meets innovation. His infectious beats and natural charisma make him an artist who can captivate an entire room. His strength lies in blending ancestral sounds with contemporary arrangements, honoring African cultures while propelling them into the future.
Jennifer Silencieux
Known from Star Académie, Jennifer Silencieux returns to the spotlight with a tribute performance during the presentation of the Prix Héritage Dynastie.
J Perry – the Haitian international star
Closing out the night, the high-energy J Perry will take over the stage with a performance that promises to be electric. Blending Haitian roots music, kompa, reggae, zouk, and soca, he has crafted a signature Caribbean pop sound. His infectious energy and magnetic stage presence will make this one of the most memorable moments of Gala Dynastie.
