Montreal, January 22, 2026 – Today, the Gala Dynastie unveils the highlights of its 10th edition, to be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Théâtre Maisonneuve. Presented under the theme The End of an Era, this anniversary edition marks a pivotal moment in the history of the Gala, after ten years dedicated to celebrating, recognizing, and showcasing talent from Black communities within Québec’s cultural and media sectors.
Driven by the Fondation Dynastie, the Gala Dynastie has, over the years, established itself as a must-attend event, a space for recognition and a platform for legacy and transmission. This 10th edition offers both a reflective look at the journey so far and a collective moment to mark the closing of a foundational chapter. The event is presented by Groupe Banque TD, in collaboration with SODEC, and will be broadcast on NATYF TV starting at 8:00 p.m.

This anniversary edition introduces a renewed format. Instead of traditional nominations and award presentations, the Gala will pay tribute to 14 influential figures across 10 categories, recognized for their careers, commitment, and lasting impact on Québec’s cultural and media scenes. More than a celebration, the evening is conceived as a pause in time, a gesture of recognition and an opportunity to reflect on the legacy built over the past decade.
The honorees will be revealed gradually, at a pace of one announcement per week, allowing each journey to receive the time, space, and attention it deserves.

Two special awards will also be presented to highlight the rising generation that is actively building its own legacy.

The evening will feature five unique performance tableaux, brought to life by outstanding artists who will take the stage at Théâtre Maisonneuve to honor great cultural trailblazers.

A series of 20 video capsules will give voice to creators and former finalists who have shaped the history of the Gala, offering an intimate look at its impact and collective legacy.

“Ten years ago, the Gala Dynastie was not a given, it was a bold bet. The year 2026 ushers in a renewal, carrying new forms, new ambitions, and a vision firmly oriented toward the future.”
This year, two Dynastie Awards – People’s Choice will be presented to honor standout figures from the past nine editions of the Gala, in the Culture and Media categories.

A presale is going on, from January 19 to February 8, with a 20% discount on all ticket categories.
Starting February 9, tickets will be sold at regular price.
