André Béraud

For more than 16 years, André has held the position of First Director, Fictions and Feature Films at ICI Radio-Canada Télé. In this capacity, André and his team monitor the development and production of drama series, comedies and daily life on the public broadcaster produced by external producers such as, among others, Lakay Nou, Despite Me, District 31, Stat, Dumas, 5th Rank, Stat, Dumas, 5th Rank, Le Monde de Gabrielle Roy, Letting Go, Bedaine, Antigang, Les Pays d'en Haut, Unit 9, Breaks, 19-2, Various Facts, Various Facts, Fragile, Free Now, Appearances, Cerebrum, Mont-Rouge as well as Lou and Sophie, Les Mecs, L'Oeil du cyclone, L'Oeil du cyclone, Plan B, Plan B, After, The Candidate, That's how I love you, The returns ofA guy, a girl and the 6 event episodes of La Petite Vie. The fiction team also manages the numerous pre-purchases of Franco-Canadian films, such as Villeneuve, Liar, A thousand secrets a thousand dangers, My Mother, God and Sylvie Vartan, Where do souls go, Kanaval, Berger, 1995, Captain, Vile et Miserable, and the original Radio-Canada movie The Christmas cyclone, to name only these recent releases.

Also, André is committed to the accessibility of the public broadcaster to producers and creators from diverse backgrounds. With his team, he supports these artists and artisans in their fictional ambitions as much in creating as in understanding the realities of the industry and Radio-Canada, through meetings and collaborations.

Previously, André was briefly Artistic Director of Fiction at TF1 where he supported the creation of series. Profiling and My friends, my loves, my anxieties, among others. For more than 10 years, as a Producer and Associate Partner at Cirrus Communications (now Attraction Images) André supported the creation of several TV series including La Vie, le vie, Naked Josh, The tumultuous adventures of Jack Carter, All About Me, Hard Time, Ciao Bella, La Galère, and Men in quarantine.

André was a Program Associate at ABC Entertainment in Los Angeles where he was able to take his first steps in the broadcasting profession, has a master's degree from the University of Southern California (USC, The Peter Stark Producing Program) where he acquired the basis of the profession of producer, a Bachelor in Commerce from McGill University, and a diploma in Broadcasting from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
